So I've made a 2nd job w/ every class except a thief and my friend is getting into the game and he wants to make a sin, so I may as well make one and go along w/ him. I've heard that Dexless>LowDex>Regular till 3rd job then it's LowDex>Dexless>Regular afterwards. I was wondering basically what I should make (I'll most likely make the same as my friend and btw we won't have funding for a log, long time). And btw if you pick LowDex what is a normal number to cap Dex at?

I suggest starting a reg dex sin and once u have enough funding, u should try and start a dexless sin. Also, if ur getting NX start a dexless right away and spent the NX on mts...buy a 8-10 att wg 1st then keep getting godlier stuff.

If you want the cheap trial version, go Dexless. You don't need much more than a mil mesos to fly through 1st job, and if you do the meso quests and manage your mesos well, getting an Atk Glove and 100%ed Maple Claw and Kandayo isn't difficult on the way to Lvl 43. Ya won't be superb, but it's decent for a cheap trial. xD And Low Dex only catch up to Dexless well into 4th and when both have very good funds. xD

dont do what i did...i funded my sin with about 20 mill (at the time was a lot) quit came back and realized tobi's remained worthless at the same time i gotta deal with other sins who keep asking me for the stats on my sauna...just avoid the annoyance and the crap and be anonymous sorta wish i went regular sin sometimes but i'll survive but if you NEVER sin'ed before just make a regular they are lots of fun btw a regular sin can be converted to a low dex by simply capping your dex to a solid number oooor just keep it lower then it should be level wise and be off by like 5-10 levels equip wise and then increase and equip a new set of clothing...but personally regular then low dex dexless i predict will cost a lot more to fund then it already is which is a lot since everything luck is man expensive for no reason but the existance of dexless

Usually i would shout lowdex at chu. But since u have no funding... Dexless if youre not gonna get to 4th job and regdex if you are. ;)

I'm hearing many different things but I think I may go with NiteTyme. I'll make a regular but I'll cap my dex eventually and if say an item needs 50dex to equip and my base is below that if my equips happen to add to equipping it then I'll go for it.

you can start out as a dexless sin and convert to a low dex sin. when you start to convert to low dex sin, you'll have some money to fund yourself. starting out as a dexless sin doesn't require much money since you'll be using the same claw for a while and your damage will be relatively high.

@NiteTyme how does changing ur stat build depict how fun a character is? isnt is mainly based on ur skills/abilitys

well it helps in not being annoyed cpq for example...would u rather argue with the guy about having more damage then him and he not wanting to accept it or would you rather just brush it off shake your head and continue to enjoy the game without ever having to get frustrated with the guy cause you know you do less damage then him and like i said just being regular makes puts you under the radar of annoying people who cant help but show themselves off
