Why am I on basil then? Because it's almost 4 in the morning, and there's nothing else to do. Anyway, I'm on a trip to Rome that I never really wanted to go on. I was, in a way, forced to come to Italy with my parents and my sister. We did the sight seeing, the tour buses, the resturants, and the shopping, but out of all of them, I think I only enjoyed the shopping... .__. I'm in Italy becaus I'm visiting family here. They speak Tagalog, we are filipino, and Italian, but not too much english. My sister took 3 years of Italian already and can speak some Tagalog and understand a handful of it. I, on the other hand, only have 2 years under my belt (and I suck) and I can't speak tagalog at all, just barely understand it. Because of this, I feel left out and alone while everyone else is chatting away. I still have 4 more days to go while I'm in Italy, and I've been here for 4 days already. I'm already thinking of going home... :c Does that make me spoiled or ungrateful in any way? > <

I know some people who would be jumping for joy to go to Italy. As for myself, I don't really like travelling too much. x__x I think I know how you feel. :x

Going with friends is what makes it all fun D= But I'm still jealous you're trying out all the food. I love Italian food the most as whole cultural category type. Sushi is number one individual food category though =D I wanna go to Venice mostly out of all of Italy.

Heh. I had the same sort of thing. Parents dragged me onto a crappy cruise ship around the Caribbean, nothing there that I really liked while I would rather have just stayed at home with friends. Everyone on the cruise spoke a European language, including my parents and the staff, so I'd be ____'d if I could even order food.
