how can u guys stand the low dmg ?

okaaay so i made a slinger 2 days ago cuz i was REALLY bored of my lvl 60 fighter so i searched up youtube vids and i came across this guy who had a slinger and this video was about how u can travel so much fasster with slinger so i got inspired so i made a slinger :D but their dmg SUCKS. i have a 18 str robe and im going to be a low str but the dmg STILL sucks =.= so my question is How can u guys stand the low dmg ? EDIT: im going to be a low STR slinger not low dex ^__^ EDIT:slingers need dex not str

Low damage=/=Small numbers. They attack quickly, and just wait until 4th job, they outdamage EVERYTHING.

im not planning to go all the way to 4th jobb tho =.= i just made one cuz i got bored of fighter so i made somthing to get motivated and not quit maple :D

Just stop comparing your damage to other classes. Even though it looks like they're hitting higher numbers, you can probably train just as fast, and have more fun doing it. If your slinger is still a 1st jobber, then your damage is just gonna suck no matter what.

slingers are fast, they have sick moves, with the right funding, they can actually pwn, and once you hit 3rd job, youll start doing seem real damage... if youre patient and willing, itll be good in the long run

Where's the "Don't mind the low damage" option? Plus, we train just as fast as most other classes, so i don't have a problem with the weak damage. EDIT: and being low-str is stupid. Why? You can get +8 str equips for the same price as +10 dex equips, so why lose 2 stat points? Some people like keeping their secondary stat low, but i don't see why, since, overall, it just hurts you.

When you get mw, keeping your secondary stat low will allow your main stat to have a higher bonus. If you can afford it, just keep your str as low as possible. Lower str means more dex which will mean a bigger bonus for dex with mw.

Its lower damage for 5-8 lv's, but it pays off if you party people alot.
