There really isn't a "hell" now. Windraiders, MPQ, and Wolf Spiders make 7x and 8x pretty easy. The hell was that you don't get good skills until you have maxed combo and coma.

the hell for me was from lvls 110-120 i think, getting 8%-12% an hour solo. I had to resort to buying leech so i could lvl fast again

I would say......90-120 honestly. Mainly because that seems to be where people quit.
pkfromhk 07/12/09 + PM | QUOTE | PERMALINK | REPORT
90-120 is the easiest, there's gobies and himes. I guess it all depends on fudnings, if you have better equips, you can kill monsters with ease, eg. 2hko gobies.

what Goatkou said, Sader hell is level70 to 80; or it used to be Pre-Ludi =Grinding at coolies

90-120 is a piece of cake. I went to himes from 87-125, and I did it in about a week or two, with 2x and 4x. And that was before the experience curve.

2x and 4x are easier to get than ever. If you are incapable of training on 2x and 4x every so often, then welcome to hell.

Level 70~80 for me since there weren't Windraiders... And now 103~120 - because I have no motivation to continue killing the same monsters. Just to kill slightly stronger monsters who can't defend themselves.
andrew1007 07/14/09 + PM | QUOTE | PERMALINK | REPORT
70-80, hands down. if this is your main, aka first 3rd job. you're going to be incredibly depressed to find out your 7x's are simply a stage of a glorified fighter. you're still putting points into combo, and even if you put a point into your finishers, they do horrendous damage.
Annihilatron 07/15/09 + PM | QUOTE | PERMALINK | REPORT
yes, but 70-80 don't take much time anymore. At 25%/hr or higher, kids are spoiled if they can't figure out how to level. 105-127 are the worst. In the crusader levels, you'll get sick and tired of the pot burning himes, and after about 114, you'll be lucky to level off a single 2x card (unless you're 4xing). Once you hit 115, you'll be completely tired of himes (seriously, that map has no interesting points) and also tired of crow coming in and stealing exp every so often. At 120, you don't earn anything. You don't get ANYTHING except 'rush' until level 127 really, because brandish pretty much sucks until it hits 3 enemies. 127 is when you get to change your keyboard settings to remove things like slashblast, coma, and powerstrike, because before 127, all those skills are still needed. You still need powerstrike because Brandish's vertical range may cause you to not hit the enemy in front of you, noticeable at skeles, when trying to clear a plat to snipe the upper plat off of. The fighter stands to gain the least from each job advancement; it can be a crushing blow to not gain anything immediately after job advancement while watching other classes gain everything. 3rd job: combo for 7 levels. other classes: AOE attacks for mages, shadow partner, AOE attack for bandits or assaulter, AOE or strafe for bows, etc), dragon fury/crusher 4th job: rush + crappy brandish for 7 levels: other classes: Ultimates, triplethrow, beholder/zerk, acb/blast, BS, hurricane, extra mastery, better summons for the archers...

Crusader hell is when a Mage with a staff wacks a monster and does more damage than your Panic does.
