So I just bought a new computer Intel Core 2 quad processor 2.3ghz 1000 gb hardrive 8 gb ram graphics card: ATI Radeon HD 3450 So when I try to play online games I lag a lot. But when browsing the internet my connection is extremely fast. When I play any game such as TF2 or CSS even MapleStory I get about a ping above 500 even when the source is close by. What can I do to speed up my connection?

Yeah happens on my Studio XPS vista as well. Internet and downloiad is ZOOOOOM! when i play conter strike or MS its so laggy

Not sure, but it is a new computer,so maybe get the latest updates for your drivers.

Update all your drivers, when I had that happened it fixed my computer

8 ram and you lagg 0.0 Thats very odd.. When i had that problem at my uncle's house i simply re-booted my Internet and Computer. Otherwise, try lower the graphics inside Maple (might work) CS i have no idea, since you cant really lower the graphics, try use the chat function to change the codes.
