There was an entire stack of bids on the item, price was rising towards an eventual high priced sale, but I was ok to be in the running on it. Somebody had a full set of diary pages up. http://www.basilmarket.com/show/auction/12449804 4 days left, gone now. So rude.

How do you report an auction that does not exist anymore? That would be useful information. I can't click on a report link, on a page that's gone now can I? As for fashion, completely inappropriate section, this is an issue with basil, thus 'site issue'. Though if you like it is an issue with all humanity, and possibly belongs in general.

Sorry I didn't quit understand. Did you mean like someone put an item up for sale and you and many others placed bids on it then he removed the item from sale before the auction ended?

That's allowed, you know. Sometimes they do that because they didn't get the amount that they wanted. But can't they just use a reserve price? 1. The reserve price is the bare minimum of what they wanted. It's like a safe shield for 1k bids. 2. They might've wanted higher than the minimum price 3. If the reserve price doesn't get met, the auction is removed automatically

With 4 days left. I got one outbid notice, went to check to see just how high the price had gotten, and the item was gone. Not just the one item I was biding on, but the entire set of 10 pages the person had put up. The auction didn't end, the person took it down with days left to go. If they thought the price wasn't high enough in the few hours it had been up out of a 5 day auction then the situation becomes even more insulting.

Was there an auto win price? Or, the auctioneer could of possibly accepted the bid above you. What was the item, and how much did you bid?

What authority do you have over their items? You're really just saying "I hate it when people don't want to sell their stuff."

Basically what kachi said, but with a nicer tone ;)

No autowin price, I'd have payed anything less then 5m in a heartbeat (the item was at 130k when I bid) as for you kachioyabun, if he didn't want to sell it, why put it up for the first place. What I hate is when people say "I'll sell you this for 5m" and then I walk over with 5m and they say "Nope, not selling it to YOU" it's a slap in the face for everybody who was bidding on the item.

Usually when I end auction early is because, I get a whisper of them wanting to buy the item right now for a good price so I gladly accept if it's the price I want and end the auction early

Diary page 9. You'll note that not a single one has ever sold on basil, but the wishlist on it is HUGE.

They probably sold it in game and removed it from basil. That happens sometimes. :[

It happens alot he probably set up shop or sold it to a friend in game and removed the auction befor the bids were done. Personally i think its a lame move to set up a bid and then sell in game, but unfortunatly its not against the rules. |

I can understand selling in game if it has no bids. I can understand hitting the "accept bid" button. I can even understand letting a person who is bidding buy the item. But taking it down, didn't removing an auction with bids on it used to get you suspended?
