Major Confusion Over Agent Scrolls

My mission for the day is, and has been, to "collect as many watermelons as I can". I have 11 watermelons on me, and it doesn't allow me to obtain an agent scroll, which is what I've been hearing is a reward for the mission of the day. The quest just says "in progress" whenever I speak to agent E. Do I need more watermelons to complete this than 11 or is this just glitched?

what u do is forfit the today's quest and re-accept it the next day. works

If you cannot turn in watermellons, it can be because you already have a pink tube, since they are Unique. Sell your old tube to a vendor for 5k, then try turning in the watermelons.

Thanks for the responses, I'll try again tomorrow and if it doesn't work I give up on agent scrolls.
