Nexon Really is Lazy.

In the past, I have defended Nexon and their GMs when people have bashed them. I will no longer do this. I was recently suspended wrongfully at Typhons on last Saturday's 2x. I sent this ticket: Zukari said: "I was training with a party at Typhons during the 2x event this Saturday (7/4/09) when I suddenly received a message. "You have been blocked by the GMPolice for the HACK reason." I was not hacking, and neither were any of my partymates. I had trained with them the full 3 hours of 2x with no interruptions or anything, then after a 30 minute family 2x I received this message and was kicked off. I think I was wrongly banned, and this should be fixed as soon as possible, so that I don't have to miss anymore 2x events and whatnot. Please look into this!" So, after 5 days of waiting, I finally receive this response: GM Libra said: "Greetings, Thank you for contacting Nexon America's Customer Support team. Unfortunately, your appeal to have your ban lifted early has been denied. Your account will not be released from its block before the release date. Many players believe that this may be an error, or that they are the victims of a glitch or bug in our game. However, I assure you that this is not the case. Be sure that you are not running any third party programs that enhance your game play. It is recommended that you do not run any other programs while you are playing our games. Users are required to play by the rules. You may want to review our Terms of Use for any concerns you may have. Also, your account will temporarily be off rankings until the ban has been served. As for whether or not you will be returned to rankings is yet to be determined. You will need to wait patiently until your account is released to see if you are placed back on rankings. Sincerely, GM Libra Nexon America, Inc. " So, s/he's basically saying it's definitely something I did to get banned, and that it's impossible for their system to have errors. Arrogant, much? So, I proceeded to send another ticket: Zukari said: "I received a response from GM Libra about my banning at Typhons this last Saturday. It had stated to be sure that I was not using any 3rd-party programs to enhance my gameplay, and that my ban would NOT be released prematurely. I was not using any extra programs. In fact, I did not have anything open besides what I always do while playing. Libra also said that s/he could assure me it wasn't an error in the system. But, I don't think that's possible. I mean, even if it was triggered by some program I had running, such as a firewall, or any other program the autoban might detect as malicious, you're telling me that's purposeful? I don't think the autoban system was designed to ban anyone that was listening to online radio or trying to protect their computer. Also, a computer program without glitches/errors is near impossible to create. I just believe an error is ALWAYS possible, and that this should be given a little more insight before being tossed aside like

This is simply the case, I'm sorry to say, of you being sensitive over this account loss. Now I would think the normal defender of Nexon would defend them over the fact that they may be understaffed to suit the customer ticket flows that come in. However, one account would be nothing to them. Your account would be nothing compared to another person, much like how my poorly funded and dirt-piled account is as to another person. Although they were wrong to ban you, you need to accept that Nexon can do this with their ways - I've always thought the game has grown too much for Nexon's expectations in contrast to staff and the other games. I mean, some of our beloved and known staff people like NxJoeW have left Nexon. Just be happy it is only for about a month.

If it was that easy to get out of a ban a real hacker could just copy that same exact ticket and send it and get unbanned :/.

You can say all you want in your ticket, but there's no way you or Nexon can prove that you were or were not actually using hacking programs.

My Arch Mage that I use to transfer and store items was banned for a day for harassment. I'm hardly ON it. You tell me that's my fault. I don't even talk to anyone. GG

auto response for the first. second is just lame. i got the SAME EXACT response from GM tiara when i got banned for the bigfoot glitch, when i was a priest at the time and never even encountered a bigfoot.

God knows cos i didn't, i logged a ticket and they actually done something. They looked into what CAUSED me to get banned. The autoban system thing had reported, that i had not pressed a button on my keyboard for 3 minutes, therefore i must be doing something bad... wtf? I did get unbanned the day later. But just because you are banned, does not mean you are in the wrong

WOW... Same thing happended to my friend nate... But he got banned for "Foul play"
