Puberty, Insecurity Or Just Plain Hopeless?

I don't know if this is with the people that are 16 and under nowadays, as if there's a distinct generation shift, or what, but to me, this is really pretty hopeless. Have you asked for any help with such matters? It's something to be said that everyone's different; there are shy people, outgoing people, people who don't give a crap, etc. But to seriously ask about such things, especially such a stupid question on "Do girls like nice guys or tough guys", as if every girl is generic. And you can become whatever you want, without even knowing who you like. Because as long as you get any girl, you'd be happy. Wow. I rarely say this to, really, anyone, but grow up and start thinking with a brain, not your balls...if you have any. I don't even know if this is a sign of insecurity, being too shy, going through puberty, or just being totally hopeless. /rantinalongtime

Like insanely stupid. But I agree, as Dimo said long ago, these guys are such wimps. I mean, it's hard enough for me. Not everyone's like me, obviously, but at the same time, I'm a lesbian tomboy who pretty much is the guy in the relationship, and Christ, it's better to learn from experience and your mistakes than take every precaution and ask all the stupidest questions possible. @Segumisama That made me facepalm. As if there was a freakin' manual for it. GAWD. @SnerpSnerp Sounds good, though I just went with relationships, since I can't turn to anyone for help. Me and my best friend are both tomboy lesbians and we had no one there for us except for each other, and even then, we didn't care much for it. @Danny Ask peggy. @Translucent True, but when they're actually serious about these questions, then it's just sad.

But, i suppose people are stupid questions 'cause people are stupid. That hasn't changed, the only difference i guess is people are more eager to show it.

I was pretty sure that thread was a trolling thread, but ended up being a joke. Keep in mind that not everyone on Basil is even in High School. Also, that's just the way guys work. If a guy screws up on something simple, he gets teased by his friends or even made fun of. Most people can't handle that kind of thing, or treat it like it's a joke. So they use any means possible to make sure they don't mess up on something like starting a relationship in order to save themselves the trouble later.
