Weak Gunslinger?

Wow. So I decided to make a gunslinger simply because of its likeness to Sins and I like the look of gunners. But, why is my ATTACK SO LOW? I mean, it's nearly half the attack of a reg sin and I'm not using any hybrid builds whatsoever. Any help on how to make my slinger stronger? And going STRLESS is a bad idea so I'm not doing that. I have probably a few mesos to spend.

you'll be weak in 1st job and early 2nd job till you got maxed mastery. gunslingers are similar to sins and gunslingers =/= sins. so the damage will definitely be different.

They are weak in 1st and 2nd job.

In 1st job, their atking power is only slightly behind Sins/mages (with same funding), and Sins get an early advantage because their stars don't have lv requirments (except the lv70 ones), while all of our bullets have lv requirments [unfair], so they get extra atk. By the end of 2nd job i actually started to overpower many sins, Now (with lv 12 Burst Fire), i can outdamage most average funded sins up to 75 (assuming their not dexless/extremely funded). I even manage to deter a 78 hermit doign 1.5x my dmg the other day . I never was worried about low 1st and 2nd job dmg, if your that concerned, Gunsligner isn't for you. Leech your way up and then quit at lv 135 when you don't know how to play your gunslinger.
