alite, so we know that when we grow older, our body starts to wear down a bit. hair loss, muscle loss, wrinkles and other decays. this is because it is adaptable for humans. we humans want to give our limited resources to our younger generation so they can live on. because of this, older bodies wear down as they have already done their jobs to reproduce and such. this wear down of the body leads them to consume less of the resources. now, lets put this ideology to action for younger generation. during my observation, and this could just be my observation, where there is a person who doesnt want to get a girlfriend and do it, they tend to be the ppl who are unattractive. so my theory is this. hormones somehow affect the way we look. and because our mind set is that we dont want to mate, our body systems read that and utilize the hormones accordingly. because we dont want to mate, our bodies will not release as much hormones to make us as attractive and such. im not saying this is the only factor. i know there are other factors as well. im just saying this is one of our factors for our looks. so basically, our hormones that shape the way we look is released at a degree according to our mind set for mating. now, im not a science major or very good with biology at all. and i have done none research as all either. but what if that is how it works. wouldn't that be interesting?

In simpler terms "if you think you are, you are what you think" i must say that would be interesting but that it doesn't happen sadly see a guy whose paralyzed in the waist down always determine to walk again, never gonna happen

There are many people who are quite confident in themselves even though they are no Aphrodite, and it might be because of this other people are drawn to them. I agree that if you think a certain way, it has an effect - not on your own physical body, but the way other people see you. It's kind of like a brain-to-brain reaction.

its kinda true... when girl have their period hormones make their faces less atractive for men because she cant get pregnant in that specific moment. Also when you lift weight, if u are in a sad/lazy mood your muscles dont grow as they should do, the same goes if u are really hyped/happy, the muscle gain is bigger. So i agree with you, if you feel atractive and want chicks you get a little more attractive, and if u dont... u go ewww

Aside from certain features, hormones don't do a whole lot compared to genes. If I read that correctly, you believe that people without the desire to mate have lost that desire because their hormones have somehow adapted, or vice versa. And you think that will define whether they are attractive or not. I'm afraid that is not the case; aesthetics rely almost entirely on genetics, and a couple steroidal hormones here and there. Moreover, hormones will not simply bend to your will. I simply don't want a relationship nor a lover because I find the thought disgusting and degrading. I assure you, it is not easy keeping up with my hormones. Or rather, was not easy.
