F/P Arch Mage guide?

I looked and I could not find a single guide for the fourth job advancement...which skills should be attained first, and what skill mastery books should I use, can I use more than one? I came back to maple after a year and a half and a lot of stuff has changed and I'm confused. I don't need a guide, just a little list of what I should do when I advance...thanks.

Yeah, Basil doesn't have too many guides for specific classes, especially ones that aren't extremely popular. Try checking Sleepywood.

It depends on you. Read the skills and watch some videos. Weigh the facts, which are, in a nutshell, this: Meteor = boring, expensive, super fast fire demon/paralyze/elquines = not as boring, cheaper $, slow It's all relative. What's fun for some might be boring to others. What's "slow" to some might not be so bad to those with more patience.

Oh, and what are skill mastery books, from their appearance it seems like without doing anything, one could attain points onto a skill. Does it last forever and can more than one be used?

all of your 4th job skills have a set max lvl of 10. You use mastery books to raise the max lvl of a skill to 20/30. The lvl20 mastery books work with a 70% chance of working. If it fails, you have to get another book and try again. They are basically scrolls but for skills. The lvl30 masteryl book works with a success rate of 50%. Now 'Storybooks' are items that are required in order to gain a certain skill. In 4th job, you dont start out with all your skills, and you need to do quests in order to get them. As for guides/builds, im not quite sure, but you should definitely get at least lvl1 meteor... it just owns.

Wow that's insane I didn't know any of that stuff lol, thanks, why didn't nexon make the fourth job like the others....
