I've just been thinking, whats the point of them from middle school-high school? It's usually the same thing. Get in a relationship, break up, get in a relationship, break up o_o Even if you do stay strong all the way through your senior year, what are the chances of getting into the same college? I'm not trying to make everyone break up, Im just saying something that I noticed xP Edit: I forgot to say this, but to Sum it up, isn't it a better idea to get in a relationship in college? :P

What people don't notice is that those relationships are for experience. You can't just one day find that one special person without experiencing what's out there. Experience is essential to form a healthy relationship when you're older and ready to settle down.

Maybe they break up because they aren't right for each other? You aren't going to develope a good relationship by questioning tactics.

There are a lot of fish in the pond, the chances of catching a good one is slim on your first try. But as you catch each one, learn about them and connect. Eventually it allows you to find the best one there for you.

To your edit, it is some what better to get a relationship in college; however, some people still like to sleep around in college. It's just that more people are considered mature and they KNOW WHAT THEY WANT, and that's what matters. Having a relationship in high school or middle school, in a rare case ,would last, but at the same time, it's not completely bad. Get some experience, know what to do and what not to do and understand the pain of a break up. Sure helped me.

If the two are serious, a high school relationship could last. My friends have been dating since freshmen year of high school and are still together, even though they go to different colleges. They actually just celebrated their 4 year anniversary. They're cute together.

At college: You are on a boat floating down a river that ends in a cliff, the water at the start of the river is slow and easy to row to the shore. Further down the river the water is rough and it is harder to do so. However across the span of the river you age, becoming more physically fit, and the journey to the shore is the same mental burden as always.

I realized I need to stop dating, it doesn't work out. However a very close friend you can cuddle with when you're having a bad day DOES work out. so I'll just stick to my friend.
