the game is DSi enhanced and that logo on the top screen that appears isnt apart of the game.

All he's done is injected an image of his 'team' symbol into the data of a game. The module is only injectable at the card's data read, thus being able to throw in the code before the full read of the actual cart contents is completed. Here's a link of a picture of my old n-card modded to support DSi bypasses: (Excuse the poor image quality.
