Keylogger question

Today I was randomly looking around and saw a guy link this site. I clicked and saw it was a trick. Then I saw another post below saying it was a key logger. I typed in some random fake stuff into the thing and then got switched to the real Nexon login page.(At least I think it was the real one.) I just closed the browser then and I am wondering if I could get a key logger for just typing in random crap there. I know this is a noob question, I'm just wondering.

If you didn't download anything, I doubt you got keylogged.

Before you go logging into your MapleStory account on the Nexon website or on the actual game, virus scan using at least 4 program to see if you might have picked up any keyloggers.

im not going to the site he gave us becuase he got messed up already what you trying to do scame us once you click on the site it could mean it has benn dowloaded so you clcking on there site allowed them to download on your computer what do you think there going to do have you download it yourself no 1 click thats it they hacked you

This is called a Backdoor Trojan that is used often. Just don't click on anything that you feel or think is not safe. Curiosity kills the cat!

Do you get a keylogger if you move your cursor over a website? stupid question. to be on the safe side dont click any websites and scan computer

happen to me twice but i didnt click on it i just put my mouse on it for like 10 sec then a link appear o-o

If the site contains a keylog trojan, then it may have downloaded to your computer. Just be aware not to go to dangerous sites. BTW, you do know that maplestory contains keylogger, right? My firewall/anti-virus alerts me to allow/disallow a keylogger to run when i sometimes load maplestory. And of course, i always clicked NO and maplestory just runs fine. Just be aware that someone can use maplestory itself to keylog you.

Nope, you don't have a keylogger. I've contacted the admins of *insert hosting name here* and they are removing all the websites. The page only contains a php script that sends the data to a page, and redirects you, no keylogger involved.
