Who here eat old rice?

Since most of basil is Asian, i'm just wondering how much of you guys eat old rice since I am forced to eat it and I find it gross, hard, and smelly. Parents say that it is bad to throw away rice and should always eat the rest before making a fresh batch. >.>

My parents usually have like each 2 days, we make a new batch. If there are still left overs, we put it in a bowl for some reason. We usually microwave it and taste the same.

What's old? My parents sometimes(rarely) eat old rice from the morning at like 6 if they're hungry o.O

I hate normal steamed rice. Some flavored rice is nice though.

If the bottom of the rice pot is like sticky-ish and moist, it's no good. Overnight rice ate in the morning is still decent. A word of advice from your fellow AZN.
