Some of you know that I was recently banned at Typhons wrongfully. I sent in a ticket 5 days ago, and just finally received a response. My original ticket: Zukari said: "I was training with a party at Typhons during the 2x event this Saturday (7/4/09) when I suddenly received a message. "You have been blocked by the GMPolice for the HACK reason." I was not hacking, and neither were any of my partymates. I had trained with them the full 3 hours of 2x with no interruptions or anything, then after a 30 minute family 2x I received this message and was kicked off. I think I was wrongly banned, and this should be fixed as soon as possible, so that I don't have to miss anymore 2x events and whatnot. Please look into this!" Their response: GM Libra said: "Greetings, Thank you for contacting Nexon America's Customer Support team. Unfortunately, your appeal to have your ban lifted early has been denied. Your account will not be released from its block before the release date. Many players believe that this may be an error, or that they are the victims of a glitch or bug in our game. However, I assure you that this is not the case. Be sure that you are not running any third party programs that enhance your game play. It is recommended that you do not run any other programs while you are playing our games. Users are required to play by the rules. You may want to review our Terms of Use for any concerns you may have. Also, your account will temporarily be off rankings until the ban has been served. As for whether or not you will be returned to rankings is yet to be determined. You will need to wait patiently until your account is released to see if you are placed back on rankings. Sincerely, GM Libra Nexon America, Inc. " So, after I received this response, it's obvious I was a little upset. I was wondering if you guys thought I should send in another ticket with this message, maybe just to get them to look a little more into it. Zukari said: "I received a response from GM Libra about my banning at Typhons this last Saturday. It had stated to be sure that I was not using any 3rd-party programs to enhance my gameplay, and that my ban would NOT be released prematurely. I was not using any extra programs. In fact, I did not have anything open besides what I always do while playing. I've played for a good 4+ years on multiple accounts and NEVER had this issue. I do not hack, and I think hackers are in the wrong. But, that's not what I am responding about. I think it's not right for me to be banned because of a faulty autoban system, and then have to miss out on a month of 2x EXP events, a month of NX I just bought, and whatever else I might miss, all because of an error in your system." Edit: Should I add this to the end of the response: How can you assure me it's not a glitch? Anything computer-related is bound to have glitches at some point. I think you should just suck it up. You did something worng or you didnt do something wrong, they gave you a response already. They also state that if you waste their time(like sending multiple tickets for same problem) they will ban you forever just so they dont have to deal with you anymore. you dont want that, just go out and enjoy summer for the next month, i know it sux but just take it for what its worth

They said that if you send multiple OPEN TICKETS at the same time, then they will all be deleted. Seeing as I have no open tickets, at the moment, I'm not breaking any rules.

LOL.. I got auto ban. Normally, there is something that will kick on auto ban system. Whether you didn't do anything wrong or not. I barely see people got lift from autoban. So take a little break and wait for your time to be served. There is nothing you can do about it. Sorry for your lost. I know it's painfull. By the time, you got out of jail. You pretty much missing out all the good stuff. EXP curve, 2X event and so many other goodies....

" I'm quite GM Libra has to go through numerous "legalities" before lifting your ban so easily. Yeah, there's possibly an error in the system. But it's probably not so simple for GM Libra to just have you unbanned. I'm also quite sure GM Libra isn't one of the game designers who decided to input the auto-ban system. Imagine all the tickets they get everyday...About some kid demanding the right to play this game. Funny how people "diss" Nexon and Maplestory. Yet they complain and speak trash about GMs when they can't get their fix of Maple. It seems addiction has flew from the streets of Detroit into Maple. Good luck with your ticket. Time to go use the rep that GM Ziolet reinstated me with >:3

I tried to make a thread for everyone who's been wrongfully banned. I bet most of these people have things in common, like where they were training, what programs they were using, etc. No one was interested though. :P Anywho, I wouldn't add that last bit. That would only tick 'em off.

Is it me or is that message the EXACT SAME as every other message sent about lifting bans. They dont take time to look at these cases, they dont care. Customer service is still trash.

You said "and I think hackers are in the wrong." You should fix that, if it's a mistake. But anyways, you should send the other message and add that last bolded part on.

Which means, they're not even going to try. Also, I've never bashed Nexon or GMs, but they're really starting to annoy me. Also, if GM Libra isn't one of the GMs that helped implement the auto-ban system, then how in the world can she assure me that there were no glitches occurring, if s/he obviously has no knowledge of the subject? @Above-Why would you assume that's a mistake? I do believe hackers are in the wrong.

I wonder if winamp is still glitched as a 3rd party program, I really think the Autoban system has been unfair to you and there is no reason for you to pass it, unless they got a full refund for you. They should check it detailed what exactly were you using that was a hacking program or whatnot. They're the operators of the game, and wether or not they must fix unfair bans
