It was actually really sweet. It also had a boxing montage, and epic fight with between Jackie Chan and this short white guy named Alan. One of the most epic fights ever recorded on camera and a bootleg version of Eye of the Tiger. The female star grew on me. At first I thought, meh she's okay, but now I think she's quite beautiful. If you have the time, I'd recommend you watch it; seems like a good date movie (If your other doesn't mind reading subs).
