I bought Left 4 Dead today. just after I loaded into the console, I noticed that [MY XBOX] was on the carpet. then I freaked out and to tried to move it...and yeah. MAJOR DISC SCRATCHAGE. my first ever FML.

You should've turned it off before you tried to move it. ;x I would never move a console while it's spinning a CD inside. @above She moved it while the CD was spinning inside. 360's are known to scratch CD's that way.

Same thing happen to me with Halo 3 . Now I cant play one mission on it, but my brother wants me to pay for a new one, because he didn't get the achievement on it.

Install it on your hard drive using a rented L4D, and you'll still be able to use your scratched disc.

Same thing happened to me with The Orange Box. If you have a Game Crazy where you live, ask them to buff your disc. Your disc will be good as new for like a dollar or two. Gamestop might fix it aswell but Im not sure.
