why do so many anime series have not that many episodes like only 50 and yet pokemon which i think is a crappy series has like 600? i think it's not fair that the good series have little episodes yet the crappy ones have alot,i mean if pokemon can make so many episodes why can't bleach or some other good anime make so many too,

pokemon has been out longer than bleach so 600+ already im guessing for the 50 episodes the creators want to keep it short and to the point? idk

Pokemon can attract the attention of children of all ages while Bleach would be a little mature for them. So their viewings would be lower I presume.

If a good anime got saddled with 600 episodes it wouldn't be good anymore. Deal with it and move on.

For some animes, when they have too many episodes, they start to suck. That's why.

They all ran out of ideas. |

Bleach already has several episodes, and shows no sign of stopping. A great anime that needs more episodes or a brand new series: Full Metal Alchemist.

There's something called a "budget". Basically, the bigger the fanbase and the more people who watches XXX show, the longer it can potentially go for, because more viewers essentially means more money for the producers. That, and that some series just didn't really have a long storyline to begin with.

Gamerzneed said: " yea she wud, i dont see what's the big problem of that is?" Because at that age, children would be thinking, "Oh he's so cool with his sword and stabbing people, I wish I could be just like him". And that's not exactly the best role model for someone of their ages to be looking after.

An example of that is Death Note... Second of all Bleach isn't that good of an anime. Neither is Naruto or DBZ - I really don't feel like watching 10 episodes of Goku talking to his enemy while charging his lazer -_-

Good animes should only last fewer episodes... bad animes like naruto would've been good if it ended at episode 20. Instead, they decide to scatter around the plotline to prolong it, and end up ruining the original ideas.

the shorter animes aren't exploitable and they have a short story to tell. I like that some stories aren't as long as pokemon, for example, but I'm kinda upset as how some stories go on for too long, like Dragon Ball and Pokemon
