How weak is normal luk mage?

I'm thinking of making a normal luk mage (for its pretty equips) and I'm wondering how much weaker would it be, compared to a lukless if both received the same funding. If you can answer with numbers like 1xxx it would be great.

Speaking from experiance its alot lower, lvl 132 - 9 blizz (gotta keep under 60% max MP) - 96xx MP (no MoN) - i hit high 25k's - low 32k's 90 base luk

It depends on how high you get your LUK. Whenever I want to know how much stronger I could have been, I simply take all of the points I dumped into LUK, and add them to my magic stat. It's an extra ~104 or so points. Since the magic stat is directly affected by how much INT/magic attack one has, it isn't too difficult to calculate, especially since it's all a 1:1 thing. 1 int = 1 magic attack = 1 'magic'. The difficult thing to calculate is how much MP you would end up losing. More INT at a level up means more MP gained at the level up. :/

Just make a lukless. Just get NX to cover up the ugliness if you really want to look "pretty". (personally, I think magician equips look the ugliest.)

My bishop is lvl 172, base luk is 35, so that i could hold an esther shield, however with MW and zhelm i am able to wear my calaf. lukless IS definately a lot stronger than standard build. in the end though its up to you.
