Pole or Sear? WHY?

so i just got to lvl 30 and became a spearman. idk what to do next - as i've never made a warrior. i even messed up the skills but oh well. anyways, i'm stuck between spear/pole and idk what to put SPs/APs into... [like where do i stop putting in dex..] i've been doing the "lvlx2 = dex" thing since lvl 1. comments/suggestions are appreciated! :D

um ur dex should be 30 more then ur lvl :p

Take Pole Arm. Stronger and cheaper in 2nd job. Dont add anymore dex. 60 should be fine. @edit Sorry I didnt read it correctly :S Go Hybrid but use Pole Arm first.

The people above me have absolutely no clue what at all they are saying. o_O First of all, go hybrid, and use this as your sp guide. http://www.basilmarket.com/forum/994196/6#19718725 As for DEX, it all depends on funding. If you are poor, try capping at 60, 70, or 80, addind 1 dex, 4 str every level until you reach your goal. If you are semi-funded try 40, if you have a pretty good amount of funds try 20 or 30, and if you are rich as hell, go dexless

kk IMO Spears(pros): More dmg/training areas when ur lvl 100+ Way pwnage dmg with beserker (cons): less mobbing ability cost a heck of a lot more ***IMO*** are ugly PAs(pros): will get u from lvl 30-100 faster cheaper to create godly weps pa scroll 1mil > spear scroll 2.5m (in bello) Better Mob control LOOKS WAY COOLER! =P (imo) (cons): get out dmged around lvl 100+ and i have a lvl 90 pure PA dk. PA i recommend and i agree that hybrid will get u the pros from both pros list. but im not comfortable leaving skills like booster only half maxed and not being able to use all the skills. IMO Be Pure and Proud Pure PA DK FTW =P

Hybrids offer no real disadvantages versus pure spear or PA users. Hybrids only lack FA, which hurts your mobbing damage anyway (And most of your training will be mobbing). As for your dex, you cap it generally depending on your funding. 60 dex isn't a bad place to stop.

O_o And the only skill you lose is FA, and that simply lowers your dmg, and doesn't even activate on 3rd job attacks.

actually its not hard to go 4 dex with little to no funds. right now im a lvl 27 4 base dex warrior. but the downfall is that you might have to train at lower lvl monsters. if you do not have much funds i suggest you can go 50 base?

PA first is the way to go i wouldn't suggest taking your dex over 50, it's really easy to scroll for acc nowadays
