Hello basil A friend told me about a F2P game that went P2P, so i was wondering, what is maple went P2P. What would they make us pay? What would happen to MTS/CS? How manny people would quit? Would u keep playing , And why(not)? tell me what u think My awnsers $5 a month Still there, its a good source of money >:D +/- 65%? Yeah... I keep my good friends on msn as well so I'd just up and quit. Even tho i already spend an average of $50 a month+ on nx already.. I spend that money freely as i wish. I won't play a game in which I'm FORCED to pay just to play it. (my argument against WoW)

Going P2P would be a BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG BIGGG improvement. One, It guarantees nexon an average income, thus planning their patches accordingly. Two, Hackers would drastically decrease due to the fact if they are banned they have to pay X amount of money to play again. Three, NOOBS will be a thing of the past, because 8 year olds are not smart enough to work the paypal system versus the stealing money from their mom to buy nx. :P

Ouch. NX required for CS items with another $5 a month on top of that? I think a good 95% of Maplers would quit off the bat. And just imagine Nexon's reputation if they made it P2P while keeping the slogan "because we can and it's free"... I don't think even Nexon's greedy/stupid enough to do that. If they ever start to go under, they'll just make do by giving even more gratuitous benefits to players with NX than they already do.

I'd quit. I personally don't like being forced to pay for playing a game. However, having a choice to pay for CS items and/or MTS is different.

Well it would take out Half of the maplestory community Which mostly include : "hackers" , "noobs" , "advertisers"
