| Since cygnus knights (or knights of cygnus, KoC) will probably be coming in the next patch and people are running spreading misinformation about them, I decided to make this thread outlining the basic aspects about cygnus knights, their skills, possible builds, and even some videos. So, without further ado: Table of Contents Disclaimer Common Information/Abilities Dawn Warriors Blaze Wizards Wind Archers Night Walkers Thunder Breakers Videos Credits and Other Stuff Disclaimer I made this guide to give general information about cygnus knights, not to cover every aspect of them. I've never played a knight myself, and don't know Korean, so my knowledge of them is limited. Except for the Dawn Warriors, I made up all of the skill builds, so they're not exactly expert-verified. In fact, I'll probably change many of the builds as people play and learn about cygnus knights. Also, many of the names may be changed when translated to English. Common Information/Abilities This section contains information that applies to all cygnus knights. All cygnus knights: • have a level cap of 120 • get 6 AP every level instead of 5 AP until level 70, when they go back to getting 5 AP • get their own mount at level 50 for 12m • have 4th job skills that they can't raise until level 100 and 110. For example, Dawn Warriors can only raise Brandish at level 100, and Advanced Combo at level 110 • start in a town called Ereve, rather than Maple Island. You can get to Ereve by taking a boat ride from Ellinia • wear the same equips as their normal counterparts • require a level 20 or higher character to make • can somewhat be attached to that 20 or higher character (sort of a "parent") through the Blessing of the Sprite skill • In order to create an "attached" cygnus knight, you need to talk to Neinheart in Ereve. See this video of a cygnus knight being created. Your "parent" character is NOT deleted or altered in any way; they simply exchange the Blessing of the Sprite skill. See below Blessing of the Sprite IsaacGS said: " Level 1: +1 Weapon Attack, +2 Magic Attack, +1 Accuracy, +1 Avoid Level 2: +2 Weapon Attack, +4 Magic Attack, +2 Accuracy, +2 Avoid --- Level 12: +12 Weapon Attack, +24 Magic Attack, +12 Accuracy, +12 Avoid --- Level 20: +20 Weapon Attack, +40 Magic Attack, +20 Accuracy, +20 Avoid" This skill is basically a 2-way, permanent enchantment for both a cygnus knight and its parent character. For every 10 levels ONE of the characters has, the OTHER character gets 1 point in Blessing of the Sprite. In other words, if a parent character was level 140, and its cygnus knight was level 80, the parent would have level 8 Blessing of the Sprite and the cygnus knight would have level level 14 Blessing of the Sprite. Since the maximum level of a parent is level 200 and the maximum level of a cygnus knight is 120, the highest level Blessing on a parent is 12, and the highest on a cygnus knight is 20. Dawn Warriors Dawn Warriors (also called Soul Masters) are the warriors. The |

| Are sprites' damage fixed? If not, how is calculated? Nope, they have attack values based on their level. Still, max sprite does around 500 dmg. Does Elemental Reset work with Fire Curtain? As in, will it still damage enemies if Reset is level 1? Level 20? Or does it even help at all? It just changes it to neutral "Burn", still causing the "burn" dmg tho. So less dmg on fire weak. How does Soul Charge work with super effective stuff? Is the "element bonus" how super effective it is? If not, what is the "element bonus"? Elemental bonus is holy. at max this is 25% more dmg on holy weak. How do you get the level 50 mount? Is it free? 12m sadly. From a quest once you reach lvl 50. You have to get around 80% of your exp to get the mount. Since a lot of the names will be changed when cygnus knights are released in GMS, I'd like people to post the new names as they're discovered. Dawn Warrior, Blaze Wizard, Night Walker, Thunder Breaker, Wind Archer, Ereve, Neinhart, Cygnus Knights. This isn't something I'd like to know, but I'd like this guide to be moved by a mod to a cygnus knights section on Basil when it's made. GL. PM me if u have more questions. Edit after viewing builds: Magic guard maxes at 10, drop meditate/fire arrow for elemental reset, Soul Blade is useless at level 1, Vampire is useless at level 1, Max Vampire beats level 1 Avenger- so it can wait. Other than those, looks good! |

Sending a PM on your way, but if anyone else has seen a Blaze Wizard burning fire element enemies qith Fire Curtain, please post a video of it. |

| Most people agree that 11 booster in 2nd job is the best option for strikers. You can easily sacrifice the 9 points since there's a lot of skills that aren't that useful in 3rd job. -Pokes transform- |

I really wouldn't recommend that, since FF is your only reliable single-target attack until Barrage. The Sprites only give a bit of defense, attack 3 monsters, and don't do much damage at higher levels. Thanks everyone for helping out and giving me corrections, opinions and encouragement, I've updated the guide with your information! |
