What equips should I get to do great damage as a brawler?

I'm slightly funded, but I don't wanna make the mistake of buying items that won't help later on. Suggestions, pls.

would a 20dex bathrobe or a 5dex pss and a 15dex bathrobe be cheaper?

If right now you are low on dex, just become LowDex. Because even with what U4GUN2 said, it will be hard to upgrade higher than that. SO after level 67 you would need more dex. I myself am low dex with 25 dex, and it will be 25 probably untill im 70, then I might make it 30 and leave it at 30 for ever. 10 points in dex isnt going to make a big difference, just because of the brawlers attack range being so large, 30 dex isnt very noticble compared to 20 dex.
