If you are Another job or Don't Have a Sader/Hero don't waste my reading time. I am debating whether to make a Axe Fighter or a Sword Fighter Ive Had a Sword fighter but only to lvl 48 Im mostly using it for pg Until my Dit gets to 70 Also Should i go 1hAxe/2h Axe 1hSword/2hSword i Will be base dex of 50 Let me know The Equips i will Need The approximate Cost and The Build i should take (i will be cpqing to 35 then LPQ till 50) [Edit] The only Reason I wanted Only Sader/Hero Was because I Wanted People WHo have Used THeir Sader/Hero for awhile I like to know their personal experience To determine how i want mine to be [2nd Edit] Thank you veyr much inferno Your Advice is beign taken in great consideration

I would recommend sword. 1h or 2h is up to personal preference and funding.

2h Sword if you're semi-funded, like 100 mill in funds. IF you have more, around 200 mill, then go dexless 2h, if you have at least 800 mill, then go sheild + 1h sword. IMO don't get an axe, the damage is unstable.

if u plan on getting to 4th job, then go sword, cuz brandish is better for swords cuz slash/stab ratio, if u wanna be different go axe, and if ur well funded 1h+att shield or just go straight up 2h

Okay Well i have a Japanese Map 73 Att 1/1 clean So i guess i should scroll that plus i will Not be Funding him w/ anything more than my 12 dex BR 6 att wGS and the other basic crap Maybe give him Slime shoes..

Ur quit rude sir. I know more about fighters/saders/heroes then a lot of my friends who ARE saders/heroes/fighters. Just cause i dont have one doesnt mean i know nothing. Go 1h sword if u have the funding for a nice atk shield. If 2h, i suggest u go ST or NRW.

do fighters count? anyways, i think u should use a sword like EternalSader said the damage with an axe is unstable if ure thinking of using 2h sword at lvl 35-50, stay with a lionheaert, dont touch the zard at lvl 50 u should use a japanese map ifu hav one. at lvl 64, u should use amaple soul rohen cuz of the accuracy and atk the only reason im using my lions fang is because my japanese map is underavrg

Axes are cheaper, but they are more unstable than swords, and eventually get the short end of the stick with brandish at 4th job. If you don't plan to get to 4th and/or don't want to spend a lot on weapons, axes wouldn't be a bad choice.

Swords with brandish: 100% stab, 100% slash. Axes with brandish: 75% stab, 105% slash. Swords are more expensive then Axes, that's why i chose Axes. Finding well scrolled Axes are pretty hard though. It really depends on your funding though, if you have 1 mill, i recommend Axe, if you have 100 mill i still would recommend Axe, if you have 500m+, then i would recommend Sword. As of 1handed Axe/Sword, it's also based on funding. You need about 1bill+ to afford a nice weapon attack shield and sword/axe. But you should not be worrying about this problem since you can change to 1handed anytime.

so r u saying that u don't want advice from some of the most experienced and knowledgeable basilers just cuz they r not saders or heroes? that's pretty dam arrogant of u the recommended base dex that i would recommend is 4, and 23 at the extreme y? ur damage will be much better, and u just need some patience to pull it through depending on ur budgeting, u can go anywhere from spending infinite mesos, to negative infinite mesos personally, i funded my paladin (10 base dex) with 150mil starting, and i've earned about 2.1bil throughout the 146 levels that i have gone through now... as for axe vs sword do u wanna make it to 3rd job? if u do, go sword if not, go sword anyways swords have much better speed, and much more stable damage if u go sword, u only need 4 weapons during 2nd job, metal bat at lvl 30, lionheart at lvl 35, japanese map at lvl 50, and rohen/glory at lvl 64 sure, u might not hit as high as the axe counterpart, but u'll be killing faster cuz the weapon is much faster, and that the damage is more stable in 3rd job, crusaders r probably the most unstable warriors in terms of damage, so u don't wanna worsen it by going axe in 4th job, axes get stabilized, because brandish is always 1:1 slash:stab however, having said that, they get weakened by quite a bit 1 hit will do somewhere between 50% max dmg ~ max dmg, while the other hit will do min dmg (about 35% max dmg) ~ 70% max dmg as for the equips... 100% a chainmail at lvl 35, use that till lvl 50, get a zhelm, then u can change to top + bottom if u wanna, then at lvl 80 get a scrolled overall, and at lvl 110 get a MoN Edit: and i recommend 1h + attack shield, or low dex (under 35) ST user (118+ attack ST) the low dex ST user is obviously more expensive, however, it will do about 150 more damage per hit in the damage range, which is almost 1.5k more per hit when using brandish
