Why are all the awesome names taken by noobs?

A few days ago, I had the idea of naming my Soul Warrior Cataclysm when the KoC came out. Today, I checked the Maplestory rankings to see if that name was taken, and I see that it's taken by a Level 18 archer in Scania. So i'm wondering: are there any cool names that aren't taken by low-leveled players who won't even try to make it to at least 100? While there is proof that some people do use these names properly, like Titan, I just wished that these people won't just take the names so that noone else will be able to. Do you guys have your own thoughts on this topic?

Usually they make it and try to sell for real money. So they do not train it.

They made those characters waaaaay back in the day, then quit. Or they horde names like jerks and sell em off. Either way, it'd be cool if Nexon deleted accounts if they're inactive for like, 3 years

Maple isnt what it used to be, it used to be hard to even get to lvl 30, years back. They took it and figured the game was way to hard at the time then quit.

It's only annoying to me if the names are taken and they're too low a level to be on the rankings. But even then it doesn't bother me much.

They should make characters expire after 30 days if they aren't level 10 yet, and after 90 days if they aren't level 30 yet. I personally tried Wesker, AlbertWesker, AIbertWesker, but all were taken by newbs (the third being by a 40 character in Scania with no nx, heavily implying it was an old old character who quit).
