If you want a nice notebook/net book for using as hs mules/hb or etc. I would recommend the asus n10-j net book. It's cheap and the strongest net book out there as of now, and it is ultra portable.

(photos, videos, internet) MacBook Pro $1200. Has some cool features and it's more powerful. I like the backlit keboard. Really useful if you are using it in the dark. =)

If you want to play maple on a macbook you have to have a copy of windows. Even then you'd have to divide your harddrive between MacOS/Windows - dont waste your money. Just buy an average priced notebook and it shouldn't have any trouble running maple.

I personally have a Macbook, but only because its programs are more useful for my studies (film and audio). If you want it for games, get a Notebook.

jinoho said: "wat if only for play games ?" I would go for the MacBook Pro then. You'll need to set up bootcamp to set up Windows, so you will need a Windows XP/Vista/7 CD.
