i know you may think of this as a dumb question stating a claw is just a weapon for sins hermits and night lords used to throw stars but what i really want to know is: How do these claws actually funtion? ive seen pictures from artists on basil and i have seen the master guardian statue of cwk and yet the claw seems nothing more then just a glove~ so would anyone care to enlighten me please?

I think the claws could have been used to hold the stars and throwing needles themselves. That way one would only have to reach to the wrist rather than a belt or utility bag or w/e. Pure speculation.

How does a staff form Magic Claw? How can archers use a "soul arrow". See start with one thing and everything gets confusing.

Well, a claw isnt really a weapon actually, its more a mean of not hurting yourself when throwing a shuriken. The japanese made these tools more convenient for the user, by adding some sort of load system (when you throw a shuriken, another one gets placed in your hand right away) and making it armored to protect the user from blade attacks when he couldnt get away fast enough.

I always think of it like one of those bowling gloves which make your aim better by keeping our hand stiff, etc... You know those things the pro bowlers wear? Here's a pic: link

? It's Maplestory . It requires ZERO logic. If you kill an Octo in Maple , which in RL and in game has 8 legs , why does it only drop one ? If you slice your sword, axe, etc. into a Slime , why does the Slime , a vast jellitin creature drop cash? If you kill Zakum , why do books fall out ? How does putting a piece of paper (scrolls) improve how well your weapon works? Questions, Answers =/= To Logic.

Why do platforms float? How come I still dont know how I look from the front? Why dont the thieves in game steal anything? |

It's really just supposed to be a wristguard for handling stars...because Assassins don't have enough INT to handle sharp things without cutting themselves (hurhurhur). Think about it though; if you were throwing 2-3 of those pointy little things in real life, wouldn't you want something to protect your hands? I honestly have no idea why the game calls them "claws" though when wristguards/gauntlets/guards would've been less misleading. (Fun Fact: Runescape also has claws as weapons in P2P servers, but they're literally metal claws that you put on your hands and slash things with.)

A claw is a metal glove to stop the star from cutting you. Also it's used for close combat, just think of them like brass knuckles.

How do we stand on the Genie to Ariant, he's a ghost. How Come my character put's his weapon in his other hand when I turn around? How does my equipment know what level I am? How come anyone can't use guns all you do is hold the trigger.
