calling all Hermits/Night Lords!

I feel ashamed to say, you guys have probably seen my threads about switching jobs. But right now, I'm REALLY trying my best to stick with a job. I've had enough with all this switching, and no more 3rd job chars. It's not that leveling up is a problem, it's that before 3rd job(2nd job,lulz) is borrringggg. So on my 27 Pre-Sin, I'm trying not to switch. I WANT this character to be a Hermit. I have a zhelm on it.(karmaed from my CB) So how should I stick with him? Basically I'm asking, how can you inspire me? What do you like about your Hermit/Nightlord? Why do you play it? Do you like training it? I hope this will get a lot of Hermit and Nightlord posts. Will check after I wake up from my nap :]

My friend has a level 74 (75 now, I leveled him earlier) and i have a level 56 assassin ( Now 58 because he leveled me.) To me, it's more of the control and skill combonations that makes Hermits fun. I like the damage, but that's not my greatest concern. It's just REALLY as a hermit, even with level 10 SP, 5 Avng, and 1 FJ. It's worth it at level 72+.

I personally don't have a hermit or NL, but from PSes I can tell you that hermits and NLs are definitely the best class to be in game. People can say they're repetitive but that's just because sins basically out-damage everyone else. Before people call me biased, I've played literally every class and have found sins and heroes to be my favorite. Sins are better simply because they're faster.

I'm a hermit its awesome i'm lv 76 with 19 SP I'll get FJ later. Inspiration is something you need to find not others to get for you =P Just say Oh i want max haste and try and level to reach your goal. thats all i can say and also don't go dexless :D

I train my nl because i'm more like a boss killing person, zakum every night and pap while i was on my priest now bishop, also i stopped my bishop and train nl cause i wanted to be a attacker, more than someone who can be blamed when someone died lol :P also, like mentioned earlier FLASH JUMP IS FUN lol and err Triple Throw when u get it, u'll see it overdmg other chars if ur items are great

I <3 NL skills. Whether it be bossing or training, there's no set of skills I'd rather have. My advice is to learn to love and respect every skill you get, it will help you want to keep going! I've met NLs that have quit because they saw 4th job as "just TT". I personally keep going because I really want to some day reach the point where I'll be maxing out the rest of the skills. xD Edit: @Squigy. Grats! xD Also, one of the reasons I stick to my NL are my supportive buddies and guild members. They help keep me going, and in return I will always be willing to help out as much as I can (I'm often willing to boss for free/no split if my friend that's organizing it needs a bit of financial help. I also make 0 profit selling BF leech to my BL with my discount, but I don't mind, a few mesos between friends is nothing). xD

hey, lol im a 119 hermit today and ill be a NL by the end of the day xD but ne way on topic... Second job is boring all round but i found it extremely easy to get through with my sin compared to my cb, dk, gs, and sader. Just look at some videos of NLs soloing pap or think about how cool shadow partner and flash jump will be. If your a big bosser person, think about how alchemist with make your apples last 15 minutes xD and how fun it will be to fight zak/pap/pian with SP xD Once you get to 70 you'll pretty much shoot to 80 if you can do good at windraiders or MPQ so you really wont hav to wait to start using ur 3rd job skills xD

Wht i usually do is that I go on youtube and watch videos of lv 120+. That usually inspires me, training at my level is fun, even though I have bad dmg.
