Marksmen VS Bow Masters

Can some one please tell me in which areas (if any) are marksmen better than bow masters? To me it feels like marksmen are not as good as BMs, because the marksman's piercing arrow is no match for the BM's hurricane in terms of usefulness (BMs can get hurricane early on while marksmen only get piercing arrow at 15x). BMs get almost every other skill that marksmen get (eg. dragon breath, sharp eyes), and on top of that, they have an attack adding skill that marksmen do not get. Also, BMs can boss with hurricane, but marksmen can only stick to strafe, which is greatly out damaged by hurricane. Some people might say that marksmen have ice to disable, but BMs have stun, which more or less equals out. Does this smell a tad unfair?

Of course pierce is going to win in places with decent mobs, but when mobs are not common is when hurricane could be arguable better at that spot.

With Pierce you want to acchieve the highest dmg possible on the first few monsters. This comes with overkill on last monsters, but who cares? The time it takes to create a mob and kill with pierce is in most cases shorter than overrunning monsters with hurricane. And while you killed the last monsters way faster due to overkill, there mightve been new monsters hit, who walked into your range, which only inrceases your %/h.

Why must they always put "VS" in the thread title..... All those with MM pride and dissing on BM's, keep it shut. All those with BM pride and dissing on MM's, also keep it shut. All in all, you're jsut gonna get biased crap by people who want to either A) - Overhype their class or B) - Are like bowman Phaxen are are single-class elitists.

The BM Hurricane can outdamage the MM's snipe overtime =]." Marksmen use strafe inbetween snipes, which increases too. The gap is closed in the later lvl's (180+), with apples. After that the BM gains, be it a little.

With the update, MM may come in par with BM's DPS, assuming that they have perfect timing, but they will never be able to pin bosses like us.

If you've spent a lot of time using Hurricane you'd know that it overkills just as much as any other skill. The 1 or 2 arrows is easily a 10k+ hit wasted. BMs are one of the worst classes at training, along with NLs, since they do horrible mob damage. They're awesome bossers but bossing isn't the only thing that matters.

They're awesome bossers but bossing isn't the only thing that matters." overkill? what was that miss i-overkill-70ks-at-skeles? by overkill i mean time overkill. say u take 1.2 cannons to kill a skele.. but u cant shoot .2 cannon so u have to shoot 2 cannons, which takes around 1.3 secs,and overkill bout .6 secs. 2 arrows take .24 sec to fire, thats y its little overkill anyway soloing is gey, partying is the fastest training, and with NO party skills gl getting into one... and dont go " o i get into parties just fine" cuz u don't. sairs don't mob as good as u think i saw their vids, they cant creat mobs, just freeze available ones. O btw by the time u freeze both sides of a mob, recoil out of it, and get on ship, a bm could've thrown couple bombs or killed 1 or 2 skeles w. hurricane.. so the final time wouldn't diff that much, and a mm would've killed the entire thing with one peirce..
