Messed up prices?

I found a chaos scroll and sold it for 40 mil about 2 days before it rose to over 150 mil. When I found out, I was shocked. How could the price of something increase that much in a few days? Can someone explain?

haha fail i bought a 11 attack wg for 110 mill and osld it for 130 mill afetr a day and bought another 1 for 140 mill and sold it for 170 mill and i obught 1 with 175 mmill and sold it for 190 mill lol i was lovign das prices
