You guys are forgeting about clean slate scrolls... An Attk work glove can have more than 40atk if asuming all the scrolls work including clean slate scrolls.

On a regular WG, there are 5 slots, 1st slot goes to 10% glove attack, last 4 goes to chaos scroll and they all land on the +5 outcome, that gives a max total of a 23 W.ATT WG. On a Brown WG, Max possible is a 33 W.ATT WG using first scroll 10%, then the last 6 slots on chaos scrolls.
