Okay I'm tired of reading about threads that complain/ask or write a fictional story about why there's inflation. Rather than spending 4 months trying to reiterate the same obvious situation, I'll just make a thread to knock em all out, hopefully. Look inflation is caused by 3 main factors that caused such an overnight trend. 1) The release of this gachapon update/event where things have been easier to acquire. Also the fact you see a green message smackin you like a nun with a ruler every .5 seconds makes it rather appealing that 'hey I might luck out!". This has raised the nx cash demand which leads to a sub category: A) Because of the raise for demand in nx cash, the glove attack scroll demand has also been raised because its the easiest and clean cut 5mil per 1k nx made it run smoothly. Because of the selling rate, considering every class but mage need them made it an excellent converter. This is step one. The 2nd step is the meso value has gone through a 12 story building and through 8 planets into a black hole of eteneral damnation. Chinese farming was made illegal in, you guessed it, china. Therefore common meso sellers are selling mesos for a lil over 200$ for 5bil to get rid of inventory. Hell even nx cards are sold cheaper than what they are worth (9.50$ for a 10$ card). What makes this step such a hard impact is that people who wanted nx bought glove attack scrolls with meso bought money. Once an item sells out for a ridiculous s price then you have a staple price. Now do the math, 80$ would give you 80k nx which would roughly be er 400milish if you go by 5-1. Right now 80$ can buy you 2.5bil so you can see that the whole "white scroll/donation" thing to deflate things just fell flat on its ass considering Billions are being transfered for 45$ (Rather than the previous 200$). The final step was in fact the merchants who took advantage of the entire situation. Mesos being sold cheap, nearly 500x cheaper over night, and the fact glove attacks scrolls are at their highest for nx to meso transfer. Therefore they simply buy out the gloves and resell them to people who arent conscience that they cost 15mil a piece. There is no secret cult that raised the prices, however herotex is purposely raising the bar for 15atts specifically (last i heard to about 1.5bil before this inflation). It's events, peoples desperation being taken advantage of, and meso sites tanking so now the entire deflation process will be not only halted but delayed another half a year. Welcome to the era where the market quintupled over night, and good luck living in it.

It's basically what has happened in the real world. People are getting loans from the banks, and then the bank says they don't have to pay back. Then people taking the money and are buying houses for cheap prices and trying to resell them for higher prices. Which caused the economic crisis. HISTORY IS REPEATING ITSELF PEOPLE! TAKE ACTION TODAY :O

Caught players off guard because they think theres a cult.

Inflation is when the prices go way up high, due to the increase of social demand (caused by the increasing mesos going around the economy). And what I think is that there is deflation, because there is an increase in quantity (always); therefore the prices should be going down (in theory).
