It's for the quest, but I remember hearing that it wasn't complete yet? Anyone confirm?

Bob spawns in Drakes Meal Table, I got my shell last week. You have to find him among the Drakes, Kargos, and other Snails.

And he jumps. If you have a regular snail shell as well as Bob's you get fame and such, because he takes the regular shell then realizes you tricked him.

I'm just keeping my snail shell, because the day they fix the quest, everybody's going to be getting shells.
