Starting a lukless mage, what to buy?

I'm starting a Lukless mage and I have about 400m to fund him with. Which equips are more important than others? What equips do I buy to get the full amount of my money's worth? I have a lot more questions, not anymore on the top of my head. Thanks for you help.

you want to get the INT overall and get the level 43 and 64 staffs that are scrolled. INT robe that go over 20+ are usually 300m. The staffs themselves are usually 50-100m depending on how well they are scrolled. then get a zhelm at 50 along with a PuAC.

Try to get stormcasters gloves and earrings with m.attck along with 21 INT sauna and make at early levels you can use a beginners wand or yellow umbrella then buy scroled nocturnal or lama and at lvl 64 move on to maplel shine wand or maple wisdom staff

It'll only become helpful at the end of 3rd job to 4th job. Dude, F/P's level the fastest from 70-120 and they certainly aren't the strongest mage type. Only in 2nd job they are.

poonstergang said: "why si it pointless to go lukless on a cleric?" It's pointless in his logic, because being lukless is about the damage. Being a f/p mage allows you to get the most out of the damage if that made any sense. You can still make a lukless cleric or i/l.

I/L and Cleric get the most benefits from LUKless. #rd job training for F/P revolves around poisoning the mobs, and poison is unaffected by M. ATK.

can anyone answer my question? why is it pointless to go lukless on a cleric? i can see why you shouldn't on a f/p and i/l mage because you need luk to wear the elemental wands... but none of them gives boosts to holy? i think the extra 100 int would be better EDIT: @phouphou Thank you

luckless cleric is pointless because all your increasing is your magic claw dmg (and lets face it its a crappy attack all together) as you'll be using it until lvl 70 and beyond and you get slightly more heal dmg with zombies and undead but other than that its more or less pointless. maximum dmg = f/p but hardest to train i/l = all around a good choice, not the strongest but easier to train cleric = pointless
