so are they really that bad? Is the difference in damage, training and bossing wise, that much of a difference? ty

No they arent. They just gotta pump more into ATTK equips. The difference is seen in damage PER HOUR. So i guess its boss wise.... i think...

I'm not sure how they would compare to their sword counterparts (Not very good I guess), but they're a cheap alternative.

They aren't terrible. They're capable of doing high damage and killing at a fast rate. Their flaw is in the fact that their damage is unstable, similar to Blunt Weapons, except Crusader's already have less KB than WK's, why? Every time they use Coma/Panic, they have to start with weaker blows until they get back to 4-5 orbs, and using an unstable Axe would only further deter that low rate of KB and even let it continue upon reaching 4-5 orbs. Another problem is, that 2h axes are slower than most 2h swords, let alone the final 2h swords which are "fast", and 1h axes are slower than 1h swords. The only real pro I see is if your goal is to hit the maximum possible damage as soon as possible (since axes have higher max damage), if you want cheaper scrolling, or if you really like the way axes look over swords.

" Wouldn't happen unless Black Paint Brush is speed 3 (I don't know much about "appearance" weapon's real speeds), since Red Katana is speed 4, and has higher base w.atk.

Off the top of my head, I think it's a speed 5, but it's still the highest atk fastest OHAxe, and that's what I'm getting at.

Axe very unstable for Heroes really effects DPM big time..... In this case it's safe to say swords are in fact better then axe.

My friend made a axe hero, im making a paladin. we play this game for enjoyment not for dps. if we wanted to see zomg 23436521 DPS! we would have played a cough*priv*cough*serv*

Who would play MS if it wasn't fun? To some people, having high DPS is enjoyable. I know I would rather have fun being strong than have fun being weak. Not saying Axe Crusaders are weak, just trying to get a point across to you.

Where in my sentence did i say people who care about DPS don't have fun? I'm just stating the fact that my friend and I are NOT DPS kind of people and picked our classes accordingly to our preferences.
