As many of you are already aware, glove atk scrolls, as well as atk gloves are inflating dramatically. What many of you are probably not aware of is that this was planned by several meso selling sites as a way to create a need for people to buy mesos. Rumors that either the fm guilds in every server, or some meso selling companies, have been manipulating the economy are circulating. I'm more convinced that a company that stands to gain huge profits would be better organized and motivated than a bunch of players to do such a thing. Every single server is being affected in unison. Also, the fact that this is happening right when most of these sites are having 5% bonus sales is no coincidence. It's obvious that they're behind this. They are trying to basically force people into buying mesos by controlling the economy with their massive supply of mesos, buying everything, no matter what the price is set at, then turning around and selling them at 5x its original price. The people who have no access to nx are being hit the hardest here, since the mts is also being affected. So who can stop them? Nexon? Wizet? Lawyers? No. The person most able to stop this conspiracy is the one reading this post right now: You. If each person were to boycott these heinous meso selling sites, we would be sending a message to them. We would be telling them that we don't like to be controlled, and that we're not a bunch of mindless sheep that will yield to the slightest pressure. Stop buying mesos. Settle for your old 6atk wg instead of an 8atk. Sell your own things at honest prices. Report spambots. Log tickets to nexon threatening never to buy nx if they don't stop these advertisers. Do anything you can to keep these conmen in their place. Just a little bit of effort from everyone will go a long way. If each person has just a little self control and dedication, we will be able to pull this off. If we don't do anything now, it'll show them that they will be free to do anything they want in the future. Who's to say the official company, nexon, won't follow these other companies' example in the future and do the same thing to us? They'd have no problem making this game as unbalanced between subscribers and free players as runescape if we show them we would let them. If that were to happen, there would be nothing we could do, other than quit. EDIT: To all the people who say that this is just a game and that it doesn't matter: Sure, it's just a game, but game is just one word in MMORPG. The main part of this game is the social interactions between the people behind the screens. Since mostly impressionable children play the game, it's best to set good examples so that they follow through with virtue instead of pessimism in their daily lives. Morals shouldn't be suspended because what's on the surface doesn't look as important. I am a very strong believer in the "Six degrees of separation" theory. Grey blob tells the truth on many levels. Ignore the meso sellers, DON'T sell your items low though, wait until it deflates first; selling it low right away is more food for the Meso Sellers. Plus they'll lose SO much if this is true, and people stop buying. (both GFA scrolls and mesos.)

We can fix it by not buying mesos AND by buying at the free market. If everybody buys, and not just sell, the prices will go down also.

I never even thought about buying mesos...why would i do that? U make enough money from quests, even without merching.I already had 1.8bil w/o any serious merchanting ( just always selling the drops over avg price) which im pretty proud of :P So why on earth would anyone buy mesos?

The mesos are being generated by hackers. If you buy them, you're supporting hackers. There's no way you can convince people to not buy them, though, don't even bother.

Well I'm staying away from any gloveattack related as far as this keeps on going since this kinda crap wont last long when ppl start realizing glove atk 60% scrolls aint worth 9mil in mesos >.>
