Would this be consider as leeching?

By the time I get to level fifty eight, hopefully I will have my zakum helmet and flamekeepers gordon for the additional boost of acc. So I was wondering if I was to go train at MP3 with a priest friend, and his basically killing everything, is that considered as leeching? I am contributing and trying my best to kill, but in the end his basically doing all of the work. Is this considered as leeching..? I am trying to make my Broa beginner leech free, unlike my other beginners..

I think if he kills a significantly larger number of monsters, it would be considered leeching.

Are you paying him? If not then i wouldn't consider it leeching, as long as you dont do it as your main source of leveling.

Really no different than PQing when you think about it. Party does most, if not all the work. you reap the reward. bleh. :/

I don't understand why Beginners are forced to be so afraid of leeching that they can't just treat their char like any other jobbed char and just have fun. We have people telling us that PQs are leeching even if we're contributing. Would they even think twice about it if it were a warrior or magician pqing? Would the warrior or magician now be a leecher because they pq'd? Can't party with friends, train and have fun either because our jobbed friends just might kill more than we do, oh no! I mean seriously, what's next? Getting quest items from friends being considered leeching? Having a jobbed char as you jr and using the rep they earn you for 2 exp being considered leeching? The way I see it, if you wanna party with your friend and have some fun while training, go for it. You'd do it on a jobbed char without worrying about leeching, wouldn't you? If you're only doing it just to get all the exp he/she can give you, knowing you won't be contributing much then maybe it's leeching a little. But if you just wanna break up the bordom of training alone by partying with a friend and having fun then how is that any different from what people do on jobbed char everyday?

I consider this party training, some would consider this leeching. I tend to not care if anyone would consider this leeching, because in the end beginners wont care whether or not you did this to level. Unless you actually bought the leech. Idc ;)

Oh and hi Steve :D Anyway, I train with my boyfriend whenever he's on because we just like training together and it isn't boring. Otherwise I train on easier monsters. I never considered it leeching because to me, leeching is paying someone to do it and AFKing on a rope for hours while it happens. And as for the quest thing mentioned up there as well, I hate that some people even consider questing and PQing like a cheat in this class... Quests were put there for a reason (to try and give the game some type of storyline so that it's more interesting) and PQing...I do my BEST to be helpful in every PQ I've done. The only one I really sucked at was CPQ and that's why I didn't start until I could at least kill something at like level 42. Most of the time my team lost anyway. But at this rate we're gonna have the beginner class branching out into tons of 'types': the leeching beginner, the PQing beginner, the questing beginner, and the beginner that only trains, participating in no other feature available in the game. And you'll only be respected if you're the last. My point is, while I do respect those that follow the last 'path' for their huge amount of patience, I don't see why the other types should be shunned so much, or why they should even EXIST. I mean, I could see why the leeching one could tick some people off with regards to ranks and whatnot, but for the other two at least you're still there doing something... JUST DO WHAT'S FUN FER YOU STEVE :D
