Lukless Mage: Weak without ele?

If I stick with my black umbrella (clean) forever (past level 120), will I still be overpowered by normal luk/ low-luk mages? Because I probably will not be able to afford an ele wand. (level 85 i/l now by the way and I only have 1.5mil.)

Turn it into low-luk I guess to be safe...so you could at least be able to wield a kage/doomsday...

Don't worry, you won't need to worry about an elewand until 130ish+. The lv 70 one is excess and is only an alternative for ams that can't afford elewand 7. By then though, you can always make money through selling leech =D.

Keep it LUKless and get yourself a Maple Shine Wand/Wisdom Staff so that you are able to scroll it and Booster doesn't work with Umbrellas so that's another reason to get an actual weapon.

Honestly, why turn normal LUK? LUKless will ALWAYS overpower normal LUK with the same amount of funding.

Even with a level 64 Maple Weapon. Lukless is still better.

You don't need an ele wand until level 163 where then you can get ele staff or wand (i forgot) that adds 3 luk

1 INT adds 1 Magic Attack 1 Magic Attack adds 1 Magic Attack So basically 1 INT=1 Magic Attack That being said, not only do LUKless mages have more INT, they have a weapon with a decent amount of magic attack, whereas regular LUK mages have lower INT than LUKless and have weapons with only slightly more magic attack. For Example: Two mages of same level. The LUKless mage has 380 INT and the regular LUK has 300 INT and 80 LUK. Assuming they have no armor on, the LUKless already has 380 magic attack without wielding a staff and regular LUK has only 300. The LUKless equipping a 77 attk staff will still severely over-damage the regular LUK wearing a 120 attk staff.
