trouble jump bs-ing

so i just hit shadower and now i have to learn how to jump bs, however i cant seem to get it to work. i know a thread was made earlier about it, but i think it was similar in topic but not the same as i ask. i have a laptop and i think its whats keeping me from doing it successfully. i used to have a ranger so i know how to jump shoot, but ever since i got a laptop i wasnt ever able to jump shoot. is this a keyboard setting thing? or have i just lost my skill?

its just like meso explosion jumping.u hit em at the same time the key is to have ur buttons close together

It's most likely that your keyboard does not allow it, because my keyboard also does not allow it. ;(

ur keyboard cant not allow it try putting then next to eachother. for example my BStep is on x and alt is to jump

I can jump B Step on a laptop. o.o Alt=Jump Shift=B-Step. It's harder though, but still possible.

im on a laptop too its sooo much easier bc the buttons dont stick out as far

make sure bstep is not on a macro w/ anything else. i can't jump bstep when using a macro, but I can when it's just bstep and jump

There's no fix to your problem, unfortunately. I spent days doing research on all sorts of keyboard tampering- including rigging my drivers, editting my registry, finding software which may modify the keyboard (kinda like Joy2Key, but for key response rates), all to no avail. Ever since I've gotten a laptop, I've never been able to jump-attack on my bowman and mages. With my laptop, the position of my Jump key is what causes it. On my keyboard, some keys do not allow me to Jump attack, while others let me do it with a 90% success rate. You can try playing around and see which keys (if any) will work for you, and hopefully find a key layout that you feel comfortable with. I'm just living without Jump-BS/Assassinate because I can't seem to get used to a different layout, as I've been using this general layout for all my Maple characters for over 4 years. This is a real bummer, because it'll slow down your kill rate as you cannot move while attacking, and make you get hit more (this applies more specifically to Assassinate). PS> For the love of god, AxeI, the spacing of your keys have nothing to do with this.

well that tip about it not being a macro fixed it. thanks a lot. i was also wondering why i couldnt continually jump-bs. then i remembered the delay. thanks a lot guys.

PS> For the love of god, AxeI, the spacing of your keys have nothing to do with this." im using a toshiba satellite a-205-s5000 laptop. link my finger position for jump bstep. i do it 100% of the time what comps r u using? just try putting them next to each other bc when the are far apart on my keyboard it gets a lot harder or impossible for me. its Axel btw F3 EDIT: putting this in just for the heck of it link

Try BS on left alt and jump on left shift. When press right alt then it should be 100% Jump BS.

Try put 'jump' on space and attack skills on/around ASDF keys.. If you still can't do it (due to the keyboard's response rate or whatever), then you can consider buying an usb keyboard. Would cost ~$20.

Would cost ~$20." yeah my jump is space and my attacks are f, r, t, g, v, c i used to play WoW so i got used to my hands in that position.
