K so we all know the economy is in shambles NOW but with the next patch has a good chance of getting item maker everythings going to change I heard in kms that steel plates cost 5 MIL rite now there is a huge surplus of mesos and when item maker comes out ores are going to be disgusting in price I think this will make scrolls go up because of the need to scroll the new items made I dont have any idea of what nexon could do to fix the economy.... Its not helping that people still buy from the merchants those people spamming B > SCROLLS GACH ETC you get a bad deal and your ruining the economy so dont buy from them i hope something will fix this soon....

Okay, uh. Just keep in mind that Maplestory is a game and all traces of its existence can be removed with the simple pull of a plug. On topic. Nexon IS addressing this economy issue...in a very obscure way. That donation/medal event was probably created to address the inflation (or deflation?) issue, to make the meso more valuable.

" One might say the same thing about Earth and everything on it, but whatever. Anyways, I am still convinced that the Maple "economy" fluctuated with the season, because American schools taking off for summer and more people play. In late spring/early summer, prices always seem to go up for one reason or another, and towards the end of summer or the fall. With the timing of the first box event that made prices plummet last year, I almost think Nexon does it on purpose. I'm not saying that's exactly what always happens, but I've been playing for three years now and it just seems to be the way it goes.
