Do you support marital benefits to single sex marriages?

House keeping Firstly, -captain obvious flies down-. This a controversial topic, please try exert some self control and give the moderators a break. Secondly, this isn't a topic on whether gays should exist or not, it's should they gain martial benefits like other married couples. Thirdly, let's not make this a pro/anti gay thread, state personal option. Therefore we can avoid many tu quoque style arguements. Personally, I'm not sure, I don't like the idea of discrimination against gays. But giving them martial rights would open up many methods of exploitation the legal system and would also send out a wrong public message. I'm not sure, it'd seem discriminatory not to give it to them, wouldn't it? :/

Way to start a flame war. And sexual preference shouldn't determine how a person should be treated... I don't even see why people look at gay/bi people differently... "we have brown hair! you have blonde! OKNOBIGDEAL"

Theres no reason not to let them marry, besides your own personal opinions and morals......
