Sniper vs Ranger

I'm debating on which one to become. Pros and cons of both? Mention the skills I'm only looking for 3rd job stuffs. Thanks D:

i like snipers, but thats my opinion. Ive tryed both, and i have so much more fun on my x - bowman. Its all up to what you like. I loveee Iron arrow, because it goes straight through mobs and your able to mob easily on flat maps. Arrow bomb is great too, with the stun and everything. The two classes are really balanced, its just up to what you like. Speed or power. Power = Sniper, Speed = Ranger II cant wait to be sniper. Theres so much motivation and they look so awesome!

I vote sniper because arrow bombing STDs was boring, fast. My sniper never got boring, all kinds of places to go and stuff. Now I'm peaking at squids and gobies 'cause typhons piss me off >___<

yep Power=sniper speed=ranger I made a sniper and know they started a banwagon and im mad i made it whne 60% xbow scrolls were 800k

The old saying that xbows are slower but stronger, and bows are faster but weaker, only applies to 4th job. 2nd and 3rd job, they are really similar. But, here's what it boils down to: 2nd job: Splash damage, versatile aiming, and early stun (arrow bomb), or unstoppable, hard hitting arrows? (iron arrow) 3rd job: Burning fire or Freezing ice?
