whats the difference between 50% and 70% mastery books?

i dont really get the difference i bought BARRAGE 50% and DEMOLITION 50% should i have got their 70%s instead? I DONT GET IT!

Well... the mastery books come in level 20 and level 30. The level 30s have 50% chance of working, and the level 20s have 70% chance of working.

Go with the name, not the description. 50% is a level 30 mastery book. 70% is a level 20 mastery book.

im pretty sure that they're like scrolls. the mastery books don't have a 100% chance of increasing ur skill points. 50% and 70% is the chance of their success, i think.

The 50% is to increase the max sp of a skill from 20 - 30 The 70% is to increase the max sp of a skill from 10-20. Both books are needed.

as many tries as you can, for example, it took me two tries to get Brandish 30 (50%) skillbook to work, yet it took 14-20 tries for several other heroes. (yes this has happened)

A shadower in Mardia took I think 18 tries to get his Bstep30 to work. :3

chaoskid00 said: "Lv20 skillbooks=70% Chance for success Lv30 Skillbooks=50% Chance for success" this, exceptyou need to use the 20s before you can use the 30s you need to have level 5 of that skill before you can upgrade the mastery level from 10 points to 20. to upgrade the mastery to 30 you need to have the skill at level 15 before you can use the mastery book. and books are one time use. if they fail, you need a new one using genesis as an example, once genesis is aquired, the mastery level is 10. meaning 10 sp is the maximum you can use on that skill at that time. in order to upgrade the mastery level of genesis from 10 to 20, you need to aquire the skillbook genesis20 to use this skill book, genesis needs to have at least 5 sp on it. in order to upgrade the mastery level from 20 to 30, you need to aquire the skillbook genesis 30 to use this skillbook you need 15 sp on it. i hope that made it clearer to you o.o;;
