Joy2Key or XPadder

I was wondering which program would be safer to use with Maplestory 'cause lots of people use Joy2Key but I personally hate it but Xpadder which has a rapid fire function so that I can just hold the keys and keep firing. Also I saw in a thread that a program with a Rapid Fire function is bannable...

You have to pay for XPadder. But J2K is easier to use for me.

It logs your keystrokes as keyboard commands, so unless you tell a GM that you're using it, you can't really get banned.

Anyone wanna help me out here... Do I have to have to use a USB cable to be able to use Joy2Key? 'Cause my Xbox Controller doesn't feel like connecting to my computer atm... , and when I click Joy2Key it tells me "Make sure Joysticks are connected and Directx 6 is downloaded.

Umm apparently you don't realize that j2k can be set to do rapid-fire. Technically they would both be bannable because they're 3rd party programs. It ain't like you're gonna get caught anyways

Neither XPadder or Joy2Key are bannable by themselves, because they have nothing to do with MapleStory, so technically aren't third party programs. However, you can get banned if you're caught using it as a macro program (such as an autoclicker or using timed scripts). But if you're just using it to play with a controller, that's not bannable, or even detectable. All it does is it takes the button presses and tells the computer that it's a keystroke.

J2K can do auto-fire, up to 30 times per press. It's useful for picking up drops - not that I'd know or anything...

^ Who doesn't use that function? I mean really. I usually do it so that I don't have to press the button again (Z- Trigger on my 360 Controller) to loot. It's really annoying to do that.

Does j2k work with PS3 controllers? I tried and didn't get it to work. But I can't get xpadder work with maple either -.-
