I am totally confused. So people keep saying I need to get a lvl 20 rogue if i need to make a night walker. How does it happen? Like do i go to Ereb with my lvl 20 rogue then it will transform to night walker or something? Thanks.

No you just need a character over lvl 20. Your DK will be fine. Bring your DK to Erev then talk to the NPC to create a night walker. Then your KoC and Adventurer will be linked in terms of attack power gains.

BuckleMyGirl said: " my drk is 83. does it stay 38?" If you mean lv83, then yes. It just makes a totally new lv1 character that can become one of the 5 knights of cygnus.

For "does it stay 83?" u said "yes". Then you said it becomes lvl 1. So anyway, do i get to choose what knight i wanna become or since im a warrior do i become a dawn warrior?

Your original characters stay the same, nothing happens to them at all. they are just used to create your Cygnus Knight. You just need any character over level 20 to create ANY Cygnus Knight job.

Why don't you look around on basil im sure you will find at least 15 threads exactly like this. God, people like you piss me off. Why can't you do some reseach before you ask these kinds of questions.

The Parent remains 100% the same, but the CHILD character starts at level 1. The child character is an ENTIRELY separate character.

I'm pretty sure someone made a thread thats really helpful on KoC stuff. Basically, you just need anything lvl 20 or higher, and there will be that "lightbulb" ontop your head. Double click it, and it will say something like "Do you want to make a Knight of Cygnus? If yes, then I will take you to ereb now." Click accept, then you're in ereb. You have to talk to the empress, then you get a sort of "Make your character" thing. It has all the simple things : Name, hair, eyes, skin color, you name it. After its made, there will automatically be another slot in your character slots, regardless if you have full characters already. Then, log in as that account. It will probably level 10 already, unless nexon made it lvl 1 (not a high chance). It will automatically be what you wanted it to be, it should have asked you before. Yeah. I'm making a night walker too... they're so cool... they even get flash jump at second job...

You don't even need a char level 20, that was patched in KMS, and it's gonna be the same in GMS. Now you have to create a char and select cygnus.

Ok this is how it works, you need to have somewhere on your maple account, a character that is level 20 or above. When you have that go to Erev and say you want to make a Knights of Cygnus character. after that you can log out and log back in upon login you will have a new character that is a knight it wont replace your character or anything like that, just makes a new character. when you log in as your knight you will be a beginner like anyone else but you wont be on maple island you'l be on a special knight training place. at the end of completing the quests there etc you will get to choose your Knight job. They make you bring your main character to Erev because there is a blessing that all Knights get that is linked to a main character you choose. In this case i'm assuming it will be your DK no? if so then for every 10 levels your knight gains your DK will earn 1 attack and 2 magic attack that is always passive. This is also vise versa from what I know where as if your DK earns 10 levels your knight earns 1 attack and 2 magic attack hope this helps! PM me with any questions. ~Brynn
