| What is this? Hello. There's a lot of threads on questions regarding our upcoming Cygnus Knights. (KoC) This is a Q and Answer guide and I will be updating this thread frequently. I do not have full details on skills builds, but feel free to ask, as someone else may be able to help you. I will do my best to answer all questions to the best my ability and rest assured I will not answer unless I am 100% sure that it is the correct info. Feel free (if you are a person of knowledge and/or experience) to help me. I will give credit where credit is due. I am Korean and I do play, when I am visiting in Korea, KMS ocassionally -so I am or may be more informed of KoC and I am just here to share what I know. I would appreciate it if you could... PLEASE! send me a PM or a email at skh526@gmail with questions regarding KoC. I will try my best to answer questions that you guys leave on the thread itself, but I will prioritize questions that are emailed and PMed to me. Thank you. Questions and Answers! A few questions brought to my attention are from other threads. Q. Strik3r said: "Do you "rebirth" into a KoC or is it a totally new set of jobs? If it is an entirely new set of jobs, won't all the old classes practically die off since apprently KoC is like Godly?" A. No! the Cygnus Knights are a totally new set of jobs but with requirements. If you wanted to make a Night Walker you would need a minimum lvl 20 character. Your Night Walker does NOT replace your rogue. Your rogue does not "transform" into a night walker. Your rogue is not replaced by this Night Walker. I am informed your job does not matter when creating a new knight. Q. I heard the max level for a Cygnus Knight is 120. A. Yes! the max level for your new characters is 120. Q. Why? A. My apologies for the misleading info. I have misread my source. Again my apologies. Q. Someone say support characters? DoubleU Tee Eff are support characters? A. Like I explained earlier your minimum lvl 20 adventurer will be the creator of your knight. Using simple terms: Your adventurer will be a 'mother' and your new knight is a 'daughter' character (son. whatever) Like the new family system, they are linked in terms that your mother and daughter character recieves benefits from each other. The higher the level your Knight is the more your normal adventurer will get stats bonuses. Q. What are the bonus? A. said: "Blessing of the Sprite Buff up the character using the power of the sprite. Every time a connected characters level rises 10, 1 skill point goes up. The child here can go up to level 20 because the parent can reach level 200. However, the parents skill tree looks much different. Since the child can only go up to level 120, the parent can only attain as high as level 12 in this skill. Since all other skills for the child are the same as a typical Beginner, I will not bother going over them. . PirateLife4Me said: "You don't have to be a rouge to make a Night Walker, any class can make any cygnus. The Exp curve is the same, but Cygnuses get 6 AP per level until level 70. As for the "bonuses" for parent relations, those include 1 attack, 2 magic att, 1 avoid, and 1 acc every ten levels of the other; Cygnus is level 96, the parent adventurer gets 9 att, 18 magic, 9 avoid and 9 acc for this skill "Blessing of the Sprite", And if the Parent Adventurer was level 146, the cygnus would get 14 att, 24 magic, 14 acc and 14 avoid (All passively, of course)." This too. |

Each Knight requires you to have the matching original job. To your second question: No old classes won't die off. " Wrong you don't need to have a rouge to become a night walker. If an account is over level 20 it can become anything it wants. EDIT: Oh someone said it before me. |

| Can I have multiple KoC characters per account? Or am I stuck with my first choice? Can KoC attend all pq's? Are there particular weapons for KoC characters or do they use the same weapons as their parent class? Does the KoC continent/island come with new training possibilities or is it a newb place serving only the purpose of KoC creation? Will KoC characters be able to surpass their parent characters? [I expect this to happen a lot, considering a lot of newbs in maple can't train past 50, but KoC are overpowered making it easier] And if so, what happens to the stat boost, would the parent end up getting more than its giving back to the KoC? Are there KoC exclusive bosses? Thanks if anyone gets to some of that, lol. |

| Please help I can play Maplestory but in the middle without any lag before hand Maplestory just closes. This will usually happen after like 30 minutes. Whoever fixes the problem will get an NX items equal or lesser to 5k nx. I will make exceptions if it's just like 5.1k. Send me a PM. |

Does the KoC continent/island come with new training possibilities or is it a newb place serving only the purpose of KoC creation? I think it has more training area's during 1st job for them too. Will KoC characters be able to surpass their parent characters? And if so, what happens to the stat boost, would the parent end up getting more than its giving back to the KoC? It would be the same. Are there KoC exclusive bosses? Just job advancement quests and a lv120 boss you can only fight once. Thanks if anyone gets to some of that, lol." Answers in bold |

Yes they can attend all PQ's within the 10-120 lvl limit. [Besides Ellin] KoC use the weapons for their job, (Dawn Warrior=swords, Wind Archers=bows, Thunder Breakers=knucklers, Night Walker=claws, Blaze Wizards=staffs/wands) Erev will also have low lvl training grounds No, KoC will only surpass adventurers til the lvl 120 cap. After that adventurers will pass them. No the KoC will boost your parent char. And the only KoC exclusive boss I can think of is the lvl 120 boss, for the end game story line. Hope this helped :] |

| the attack boost gives attack based on the other characters lvl I believe, so since I'm lvl 12x, my cygnus character would get a 12 att boost [a lvl 20 would give the cygnus 2 att etc...] |
