Dear Basilers, It has come to my attention that the discussions regarding the knights of Cygnus that are currently taking place on our forum have gotten way out of hand. It seems that we have instead of productively discussing the issue, resorted to throwing unnecessary, demeaning and sometimes even racist remarks towards each other. This is unacceptable and it has to end now. Both sides need to understand that they are wrong with some of the things they claim and correct with others. Although I myself play on EMS, I originally played GMS (since the release of Bera) so I care for both versions equally. Although I myself am European, I am also half American so I care for both continents (north America) equally. With the above being said I will try to be as unbiased as possible with the following accounts: KoC in GMS KoC is scheduled to be released in late July before it is released in EMS. KoC in EMS KoC is scheduled to be released on the 4th of August, 2009 (not next year). General Acknowledgments GMS isn't "better" because it's getting KoC before EMS, it is merely more logical considering the length of time GMS has existed in relation. KoC is going to be released on EMS despite the fact that we don't yet have pirates, nor fourth job - This isn't anything that we can control either, so don't blame us for it. It can be argued that GMS is "better" than EMS due to it pertaining more content. However, it could also be argued that EMS is "better" than GMS due to the fact that they received content more rapidly than GMS and therefore will most likely eventually surpass or equal GMS in content. Both statements are personal opinions that don't necessarily need to be flaunted as they both create controversy. The above statements aside, please acknowledge that it is of nobodies benefit that we act mean towards one and another. All you do when flaming someone is create more hatred which affects somebody else who in-turn will affect someone else and so on in a never-ending vicious circle, so don't start it! Likewise, show that you are mature enough to walk away and ignore somebody who obviously isn't. I'd also like to take a sentence to say that racist comments are even worse. Not to take sides, but I've seen a lot of racist comments coming certain GMS players that are completely and utterly unacceptable. Apart from insulting an entire group of people you are also just perpetuating hatred towards your own country and breeding intolerance; you are in turn poisoning yourself. If any mod has read through this thread I hope that you can be less lenient towards those who fuel these wars so you can help us collectively put an end to all of this. I hope that with this thread bring our versions closer to a peaceful resolution and I would like to sum up this thread with a quote which I hold dear, "Learn that there is no past and there is no future, there is only now. ...However convincing this post was, I still disagree with the KoC before pirates AND 4th job. Not blaming European players... just blaming European Nexon. @nevereon: maplestory's from Wizet, but Nexon bought it. Im fine with nexon owning maplestory... as long as its not disney, im good.

Well yeah, but if weren't for nexon perhaps maplestory never would have made it to the non-asian countries.
