PS3 Is Catching Up

There's been a console war, mainly the PS3 vs. Xbox 360, since the Wii appeals to a different category of people than the PS3 and 360. Well, the people for the 360 argue that the PS3 has no games, the online is inferior, nobody needs Blu-ray, and the sales are lower. Well, now, the PS3 is getting more and more games. What does the 360 have? Halo 3? Killzone 2 beats that. Gears of War 2? Resistance 2 beats that. Fable 2, Mass Effect, and Left 4 Dead? Yeah, they're all good. But I can't believe that people are saying the PS3 has no games! Metal Gear Solid 4, Resistance 1/2, Killzone 2, Little Big Planet, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Final Fantasy versus XIII, Final Fantasy XIIII, God of War 3, Kingdom Hearts 3, Gran Turismo 5, Agent, etc. Project Natal? Yeah, the voice command and stuff is pretty cool, but other than that, it's like Eye-Toy, which has been out for a long time. And the kind of games that you can play with it seem very limited. I mean, how are you going to play Halo on that? You're going to run around your living room and press your finger in the air on an imaginary trigger? What about Gears of War, which heavily relies on its cover system? Seems pretty retarded. And the online is not inferior. Take Home or Resistance 2. And MAG is coming out. PSN is awesome, and it's all free! You're paying $60 for Live, which does little more than PSN. The PS3 gives you more for your money. All the 360 people say the PS3 costs too much, but think about it. What does the PS3 come with? It can play DVDs and Blu-ray discs right out of the box. For the 360, you need to pay more money to play DVDs, and even then, it can't play Blu-ray. Add that with your Live cost. And what about the fact that the 360 breaks more easily than the PS3? And sales don't mean anything. First, the 360 has been out a year longer than the PS3, so of course it's going to have more sales. Second, saying that the 360 is better than the PS3 because it sells more is like saying that a Honda Civic is better than a Lamborghini or a Ferrari since it sells more. The 360 is reaching is limit, and the PS3 still has a lot of potential. It's not that it's exclusive to the PS3, it's that it's only possible on the PS3. Take Killzone 2, which only uses about 60% of the PS3's capacity. Now that's awesome. Discuss?

Well, I have both consoles, and I'd have to say that the 360 offers better games (Atleast I think so), but that doesn't mean that the PS3 has nothing. I'm looking forward to the next ratchet and clank, god of war 3, and uncharted 2. The online on PS3 isn't bad, I don't know what people are talking about. Oh and also, the 360's controller > ps3 controller =/

The things about certain games beating others are all opinion, so keep that to yourself if you want to shove it down our throats.:P The Project Natal isn't like the eye-toy. In a sense of speaking, it is, but it is upgraded from the eye-toy by alot.;) The 360 has better online capabilities in my opinion. You have amazing features like 1 vs 100 live, fantastic downloadable games, both old and original, you have a great way to connect with your friends, and so much more. I honestly could care less about blue-ray. Your also saying that sales mean nothing, because the 360 has been out longer, but why has the Wii caught up, and crushed it in terms of sales? Because it appeals to both casuals and hardcores, believe it or not. (Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, SUper Smash Brothers Brawl, Zack and Wiki, MadWorld, No More Heros, Super Paper Mario, and much more. Some may not be hardcore, but it's definitly some games hardcores should check out.) I'm going to agree with you that the PS3 has amazing potential, but the 360 isn't at it's limit. I also, own all 3 systems, and love each one for what they offer mind you.

Add to prices : They've dropped prices ALOT. Infact, it costs $100 more to make a PS3 than what the cost is to buy them.
